Telcoin Pte Ltd (“Telcoin”, “our”, or “we”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (this “Policy”). This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website https://www.telco.in/ (the “Website”), download Telcoin, a mobile application (the “App”), or use our services (the “Services”, and together with the Website and the App, the “Platforms”). Please note that our service offerings vary by region and additional terms may apply to your jurisdiction.

This Policy applies to information we collect:

  • On the Website and the App.

  • Through your registration and use of the Services.

  • In email, text, and other electronic communications between you and the Platforms.

  • Through mobile and desktop applications you download from the Website or the App.

  • When you interact with our applications on third-party websites and services.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Telcoin offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Telcoin or any third party; or

  • Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Website.

II. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Platforms, including information:

  • By which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline;

  • About your finances in accordance with our Terms of Use, found at https://www.telco.in/terms-of-use.html;

  • That is about you but individually does not identify you; or

  • About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Platforms, and usage details.

We collect information from and about users of the Platforms:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.

  • Automatically when you use the Platforms.

  • From third parties, for example, our business partners.

Information You Provide to Us 

When you visit, register with, or use the Platforms, we may ask you provide information:

  • To provide access to the Platforms. This includes conducting transactions, authenticating access to an account, communicating with you about your Telcoin account, Telcoin, or the Platforms, creating an account connection between your Telcoin account and a third-party account or platform, or performing Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Know Your Customer, and other financial standing checks.

  • To manage our business needs, such as monitoring, analyzing, and improving the Services and the Website’s and the App’s performance and functionality.

  • To manage risk and protect the Platforms and you from fraud.

  • To personalize your use of the Platforms and delivering materials about Telcoin.

  • To provide personalized services offered by Telcoin on third-party websites and online services.

  • To provide you with location-specific services, options, functionality, or offers.

  • To comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • To respond to your requests.

Automatic Information Collection and Tracking

When you visit, download, access, and use the Platforms, they may use technology to automatically collect:

  • Certain details of your access to and use of the Platforms, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through the Platforms.

  • Information about your computer or mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, network information, and the device's telephone number, as applicable.

  • Metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts, and address book information.

  • Real-time information about the location of your device.

If you do not want us to collect this information, your choices are to not visit, download, access, or use the Platforms, and, as applicable, to delete the App from your device, to choose the “Do Not Track” option on the Website, or to opt out by contacting support@telco.in. Note, however, that opting out of the Platforms’ collection of certain information will disable certain features, including customized and location-based features.

III. How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To present the Platforms and their contents to you.

  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from Telcoin.

  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

  • To provide you with notices about your account, including status and transaction notices.

  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and Telcoin.

  • To support Telcoin’s audit, compliance, and corporate governance functions.

  • To notify you about changes to the Platforms or any products or services we offer or provide though them.

  • To allow you to participate in interactive features on the Website or the App.

  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.

  • For any other purpose with your consent.

IV. Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, subject to applicable laws and regulations. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Policy:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support Telcoin’s business, including any “account connections” with a third party whereby you authorize or enable a connection between your Telcoin account and a non-Telcoin account, payment instrument, or platform that you lawfully control or own.

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Telcoin's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Telcoin about the Platforms’ users are among the assets transferred.

  • To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have consented to/not opted out of these disclosures.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.

  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

  • With your consent.

We may also disclose your personal information:

  • To comply with any applicable court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

  • To enforce or apply our terms of use https://www.telco.in/terms-of-use.html, and other agreements.

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Telcoin, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser or device to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. To learn how you can manage your Flash cookie settings, visit the Flash player settings page on Adobe's website or your device’s settings page. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Platforms may then be limited in operation, inaccessible, or not function properly.

  • Offers from Telcoin. If you do not wish to have your email address or other contact information used by Telcoin to promote its own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by logging into the Website or the App and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile or by sending us an email stating your request to support@telco.in. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to Telcoin as a result of an account notification, transaction request, product purchase, service experience, or other transactions. However, you may be able to adjust the media and format through which you receive these notices.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information when conducting services on behalf of Telcoin or as a result of an account connection. However, these third parties may provide you with their own privacy policies and ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in certain ways. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

Each user may request access to, review of, and changes to such user’s information held by Telcoin. To access your information held by Telcoin, you may request a “Telcoin Subject Access Request Form” by sending an email to support@telco.in. To review and change your personal information, you may log into the Website or the App and visit your account profile page.

You may also send us an email at support@telco.in to access, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. Deleted personal information may lead to account closure; provided, however, that Telcoin may retain your personal information for a period of five (5) years following an account closure in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. California's “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of the Website and the App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to support@telco.in.

V. Protection and Storage of Personal Information

We maintain technical, physical, and administrative security measures designed to provide reasonable protection for your information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. The security measures include firewalls, data encryption, and information access authorization controls. While we are dedicated to securing our systems and Services, you are responsible for securing and maintaining the privacy of your password(s) and account and profile registration information and verifying that the information we maintain about you is accurate and current. We are not responsible for protecting any personal information that we share with a third party based on an account connection that you have authorized.

International Transfers of Your Personal Information

Telcoin provides international services and all information collected by Telcoin is stored centrally in the United States and Singapore as part of our global compliance activities for AML and Counter Financing of Terrorism.

Your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence. The transfer of your information may be considered as necessary in order to:

  • Perform the agreement between you and Telcoin; and

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations and to respond to court orders, legal investigations, and any other orders of a court or governing body.

When we transfer your information, we put in place safeguards in accordance with applicable laws and in accordance with this Policy. We ensure that your information is treated securely by reviewing the following:

  • The satisfactory level of protection as recognized by applicable governing bodies;

  • The recipient’s privacy policy or executed standard data protection clauses as approved by applicable governing bodies;

  • Where the recipient is located in the US and its relevant certifications by applicable governing bodies; and

  • Special permissions granted by an applicable supervisory authority.

Retention of Your Personal Information

The length of time we retain your personal information is determined by a number of factors, including the purpose for which we use the information and our obligations under applicable laws and regulations. Telcoin may retain your information for a period of five (5) years after account closure, but is permitted to retain your personal information for such shorter or longer periods as may be required by applicable laws and regulations.

VI. Changes to this Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to this Policy on the Website and the App. If we make material changes to how we treat personal information, we will provide you with 30 days’ prior notice by posting notice of the change on the Website or the App. The revised Privacy Policy will be effective as of the date identified at the bottom of the page.
